Still in its original packaging, still has its tags, or is in such good condition that it has clearly never been issued or used/worn.
Grading Standards
Every item we list is inspected by hand before it goes up for sale. Here's exactly what each of our grades means, so you know precisely what you're getting.
Top condition
Vintage stock
N.O.S. (New Old Stock)
Much the same as New, this is a designation given to older items that have sat in a warehouse for decades waiting to be issued, and still have their tags or are in such good condition, given their age, that they are clearly unissued.
Excellent
Supergrade
A step down from New, but still in excellent condition. May be much the same as New in a lot of instances, but it may be more apparent that it's been held in storage, and it may have its factory bag or tag missing. The NSN label will still be present — don't worry. These items are in outstanding condition.
Most common
Grade One
The most common grade of item. Grade one means the item has seen use and has been issued — it may have the previous user's ZAP ID on it. As with all our items, these are quality checked and will always be serviceable and ready for instant use. Affordable, and will still look smart on your gear or as part of your setup.
Heavier use
Grade Two
Unlike grade one, grade two will show signs of much heavier use. These items may have the odd rip, tear, or minor damage. Rest assured, it will never be so damaged that it's junk — we don't do that here. If you need something functional for a bargain price, this is the grade to choose.
