Danny Kaye - 9241

Star American entertainer on stage, screen and television. Kaye's films include Up In Arms (1944), Wonder Man (1945), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (1947), Hans Christian Andersen (1952), Knock on Wood (1953), The Court Jester (1956) and many others. This is a very fine original vintage black and white photograph (8" x 10"), nicely signed and inscribed ("To Pat & Mary, Sincerely, Danny Kaye") in black ink across a clear area of the image. The odd tiny "ding" and a very small crease entirely in the margin of the lower right corner but otherwise in very good condition. (This photograph was obtained in 1948, when he was making his first appearance at the London Palladium. The show was a huge sell-out hit and Kaye made several return appearances in the years that followed).
