Dullea has enjoyed a busy career on stage, television and film but is certainly most famous for his portrayal of astronaut David Bowman in the 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey and its 1984 sequel, 2010: The Year We Make Contact. 2001: A Space Odyssey is recognized by critics, filmmakers, and audiences as one of the greatest and most influential films ever made. Dullea's line "Open the pod bay doors please, HAL" is #78 on the American Film Institute's list of 100 movie quotes. This is a very fine black and white photograph (8" x 10") as Thomas Grambell in Univeral Television's 1980 film Brave New World. There's a bold signature in black ink across the image. In excellent condition.
