Plump British character actress. Jenkins' films include Green for Danger (1946), The Brothers (1947), The Monkey's Paw (1948), The History of Mr Polly (1949), Ivanhoe (1952), The Cruel Sea (1953), Bunny Lake is Missing (1965), Oliver! (1968) and many others. In 1966 Jenkins appeared as Dotty Armstrong in an Anglia Television soap about daily life in a rural veterinary practice called Weavers Green. It didn't last long - there were just 49 half-hour episodes. This is a very fine black and white publicity photograph (5.5" x 3.5") to remind us of that brief detail in her long career. Jenkins has added an excellent signature in dark blue ink across the lower margin. In very good condition. RARE. (J/S)
