Nat Jackley - 15557

Skinny, lisping, rubber-necked comedian who began his career as a clog dancer with the Eight Lancashire Lads, an act that had earlier included Charlie Chaplin. Jackley appeared in a number of films, including Demolished (1944), Stars in Your Eyes (1957), Yanks (1979) and The Ploughman's Lunch (1983). He has become a cult figure for his role in the Beatles' television film, Magical Mystery Tour (1967). This is a superb black and white photograph (5" x 3.5"), boldly signed and inscribed ("To John, My Sincere Wishes, Nat Jackley") in dark blue ink. In excellent condition.
