Lovely American actress and singer.
Jones' films include Oklahoma (1955), Carousel (1956), The Music Man (1962) and many others. Much of her work has been on television, including a very large number of made-for-television movies, and she is still fondly remembered for her appearances in The Partridge Family (1970-1973).
Jones won an Oscar for her performance in Elmer Gantry (1960).
This is a very fine vintage 1950s glossy sepia Picturegoer Postcard of Shirley Jones and Gordon Macre in a scene from Carousel, boldy signed ("Love, Shirley Jones") in black ink. In excellent condition. SCARCE.
