Yolande Donlan - 16633

American actress, primarily known for her work on the British stage. Donlan scored a personal stage success first in Boston, then in London as Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday. In 1946 she made England her permanent home. The few films she has appeared in include Bela Lugosi's The Devil Bat (1940), Mr Drake's Duck (1951), Tarzan and the Lost Safari (1957), Expresso Bongo (1959), Jigsaw (1962) and The Adventurers (1970). This is an exceptionally pretty UNSIGNED original vintage back and white Gainsborough publicity photograph (7.75" x 7.5") for Donlan in their 1949 comedy TRAVELLER'S JOY (the last film they were to make.) In excellent condition. (The studio flyer to the reverse says of Donlan that she "plays the vampish part of Lil Fowler"). A RARE SURVIVAL.
