Celia Johnson - 16210

Distinguished British actress. Johnson's films include In Which We Serve (debut, 1942), Dear Octopus (1942), This Happy Breed (1944), Brief Encounter (AAN 1946), A Kid For Two Farthings (1956), The Good Companions (1957) and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1969). This is a lovely vintage sepia photgraph (5.5" x 3.25") of the young Celia Johnson, signed in dark blue ink across the lower margin. Some skippiness of her pen in the first half of her surname and residual adheshion stains to the reverse (not in any way affecting the front.)
