This was the standard trouser belt worn by most branches of the British armed forces until they were issued their unit's stable belt; even after that, this is seen used during operational deployments and remains on the of the most versatile belts on the market, secured with a sturdy Mills buckle on the front – reminiscent of the older 37 Pattern belts. This was the successor to the 58 Pattern belt.
