Desmond was a brilliantly accurate and satirical impersonator of the famous, with targets that included Bette Davis, Marlene Dietrich, Katharine Hepburn, Greta Garbo, Hildegarde, Zasu Pitts, Cicely Courtneidge, Claudette Colbert, Barbara Stanwyck, Myrna Loy and countless others.
