English actor. Dancy's show business breakthrough came in 2000 when he played the title role in the television film adaptation of David Copperfield. He became internationally famous the following year playing Kurt Schmid in Black Hawk Down. Later films include Ella Enchanted (2004), Shooting Dogs (2005), The Jane Austen Book Club (2007), Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009), Adam (2009) and Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011). On television, he played criminal profiler Will Graham in the NBC television series Hannibal (2013–2015), Cal Roberts in the Hulu original series The Path (2016–2018) and Robert Devereux, 2nd Earl of Essex, in the Channel 4 miniseries Elizabeth I (2005), which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Dancy currently portrays Senior Assistant District Attorney Nolan Price on NBC's revival of the original Law & Order (2022–). This is a fine early black and white photograph (6.25" x 8.75") of the very young Hugh Darcy, neatly signed across a clear area of the image in dark blue ink. There's a second signature to the reverse, thanking John Street for a kind letter. In excellent condition.
