American pop singer and actor, the son of actor/singer Allan Jones and Irene Hervey; six times married. Jones' heyday was the 1960s, when he had huge hits with recordings such as "Call Me Irresponsible,"(1963), "Lollipops and Roses" (1962 Grammy Award, Best Pop Male Performance), "Wives and Lovers" (1964 Grammy Award, Best Pop Male Performance), "The Race Is On (1965). "The Impossible Dream"(1965) and "The Love Boat Theme"(1977) Even now, Jones continues to perform concerts around the world, and remains popular in Las Vegas.
