London-born actor. Callis shot to fame in 2004, playing Bridget Jones's best friend Tom in Bridget Jones's Diary. Bridget Jones :The Edge of Reason (2004) and Bridget Jones's Baby (2016) followed. Other excellent films include Narcopolis (2015), The Hollow (2016), Blood Moon (2016), House by the Lake (2017) and Break Even (2020). Callis is perhaps most famous for his role as Gaius Baltar in television's Battlestar Galactica (2004-2009). This is a very early black and white photograph (5.5" x 3.5"), neatly signed and inscribed ("To John, Best Wishes, James Callis") in red ink across the lower white panel. in excellent condition.
