Corbett is best known for presenting The Sooty Show (1976-1992) and later Sooty and Co. (1993-1998). He is the son of Sooty's creator, Harry Corbett, and took over the show in 1976, paying his father £27,000 for the rights. He retired in 1998.
This is a very fine black and white photograph (5.5" x 3.5"), neatly signed and inscribed ("To John") in dark blue ink across the lower white panel. To the reverse is a very cheery message in blue ink, signed "Matthew", In very good condition.
