Pat Coombs - 15511

Much loved English comedy actress, one of Britain's greatest, specialising in the portrayal of the eternal downtrodden female. Coombs appeared in many films, including A Stitch in Time (1963), Carry On Doctor (1967), Till Death Us Do Part (1969), Carry On Again Doctor (1969), Dad's Army (1971) and On The Buses (1971). She was a stalwart of British television comedy series, appearing in Hancock's Half Hour, Beggar My Neighbour, Till Death Us Do Part, You're Only Young Twice and many others. This is a very cheery black and white photograph (5.25" x 3.25"), signed and inscribed ("John, Best wishes, Pat Coombs") in blue ink. Much of her surname runs across a busy background but it remains readable in good light. Overall condition is very good.
