Robert Donat - 16582

One of the greatest of all British film actors, with a wonderfully melodious voice. Donat's films include The Count of Monte Cristo (1934), The Thirty Nine Steps (1935), The Citadel (AAN 1938), The Young Mr Pitt (1942), The Winslow Boy (1948), The Magic Box (1950) and The Inn of the Sixth Happiness (1958). In 1939, the year that Gone With The Wind swept the board at the Academy Awards, Donat won an Oscar as Best Actor for Goodbye Mr Chips. This is a very fine vintage sepia photograph (5.5" x 3.5"), nicely signed in blue fountain pen ink across the image. In excellent condition.
